For me I will stay with the manual tranny. Although I have no use for an auto in my sportscars, I have to agree totally. The drag radial is very finicky and never really got a good launch with them. I regularly ran the et bias ply and launched it at rpm with no issues and did achieve sixty foot time on stock suspension with lowering springs.
